Grit for iPhone
One number.
Every day.
A self-discipline tracker for iPhone. One score, 0 to 1000, that climbs with the work and slips without it.

Everything you do lands on one number.
Finish the day’s card and the score climbs. Skip it and it slips. Progress keeps the reason for every point.
0-1000
The whole range. The first hundred come fast, the last hundred don’t.
- +4
- A clean day’s bonus, on top of the tasks that earned it.
- −18
- The most a skipped day can cost. Your peak keeps a floor under you.
- 0
- Leaderboards, feeds or followers. It stays between you and the number.
A companion that grows with the number.
Pick one of five at the start. It hatches at Spark and takes a new form at every tier. It decorates the number; it is not a second score.
Ember
Gargoyle
Dragon
Phoenix
Ghost

Do the first one. I’ll wait.
Five forms, one per tier.
Its shape follows your number, up and down. The last form opens at 850. Few get there.
The dragon’s five forms: Hatchling at Spark from 0, Whelp at Kindling from 300, Drake at Flame from 500, Wyrm at Blaze from 700, and Elder at Inferno from 850. A score of 687 sits in Flame.
Inside the app.
Progress, challenges, Hard Mode. One number runs through all of it.
Progress
Every week, one bar.
A Heat Bar for each week with what it added, a flame calendar of the month, and a recap every Sunday. Every point keeps its reason.

Challenges
Take one on. It counts itself.
Iron Month, The 10k Round, Seven Clean Days. Anonymous cohorts show how many are in with you, and how many finish.

Hard Mode
One brutal day. All or nothing.
Pick Silent Day, Deep Day, or Reset Day. Five tasks and a clock that runs to midnight: the full reward, or up to −18.

Five lanes. 250 real tasks.
From a ten-minute walk to a phone-free evening. Free draws from the lane you pick first; Premium opens all five.
No account. No feed. No ads.
Grit works without sign-up. What you write and what you track stays on your iPhone.
- Apple Health
- Step count is read only to verify step challenges. Raw steps never leave your device.
- Journal
- Your entries stay on your phone. Writing never moves the score.
- Challenges
- Cohorts are anonymous. No profiles, no chat, no leaderboard.
Questions, answered.
What is a Discipline Score?
A single number from 0 to 1000. It rises when you finish the day's tasks and decays when you skip them. Early gains come fast and the top is earned slowly, through five tiers: Spark, Kindling, Flame, Blaze, and Inferno.
Is Grit a habit tracker?
It tracks habits, but it scores them. Instead of a wall of checkmarks you get one number, plus streaks, lanes, and a Progress page that explains every point.
What is the companion?
A small creature you pick at the start: Ember, Gargoyle, Dragon, Phoenix, or Ghost. It grows through five forms as your score climbs the tiers. It decorates the number; it is not a second score.
What is Hard Mode?
One brutal day. Pick Silent Day, Deep Day, or Reset Day, clear all five tasks before midnight, and take the full reward. Miss one and it costs up to 18. Hard Mode is part of Premium.
Can I use Grit for monk mode or a winter arc?
Yes. Run Hard Mode days, take on challenges like Monk's Vow or the Winter Grind, and let the score hold you to it.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no feed. Your data stays on your iPhone.
Does Grit read my Apple Health data?
Only your step count, read-only, and only to verify step challenges. Raw step data never leaves your device.
What does Premium include, and what does it cost?
Premium unlocks the full ten-task daily card, all five lanes, Hard Mode, challenges, and the full Progress page. Plans are annual, weekly with a 3-day free trial, or lifetime. Prices are shown in the App Store and subscriptions can be cancelled any time in your Apple ID settings.
Is Grit available on Android?
Not yet. Grit is built for iPhone and requires iOS 18 or later.

Still in the egg.
Your move.

Your number starts with one task.
Free on iPhone. Premium unlocks the full daily card, every lane, and Hard Mode.
